Local Shooters Compete at MSHSL Clay Target Tournament
Four Wayzata shooters and one from Hopkins were in the individual competition at the Minnesota State High School League Clay Target championship tournament Friday at Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake.
Wyatt Zarns of Wayzata hit 98 of 100 targets, tying for 11th among male shooters.
Amartya Bhattacharya and Olin Nelson of the Trojans each hit 97 to tie for 23rd.
Ashley Sarvie of Hopkins scored a 92 to tie for 10th among female shooters.
Earlier in the day Wayzata placed ninth in the team competition.
