Local Players Prep for High School All-Star Series
The 48th annual high school all-star baseball series returns to Chaska this weekend, featuring many of the state’s top prep players from the Class of 2023.
Local players competing in the two days of games include Wayzata’s Jake Berkland (Metro West), Spencer Pederson of Osseo (Metro North), Jay Krieger of Totino-Grace (Metro North), Champlin Park’s Justin Brooks (Metro North) and Easton Breyfogle of Benilde-St. Margaret’s (Metro South).
Six teams in all compete in the series, representing different regions of the state.
The first game is set for Friday afternoon at 12:30 with the championship game scheduled for 7:15 pm Saturday.
All games are played at the Chaska Athletic Park.
