Local Players Faber, Senden Skate at Minnesota Wild Camp
Maple Grove native Brock Faber and Wayzata High School graduate Mark Senden both share the same dream—to play professional hockey.
Tuesday the two came a step closer as part of a group of two dozen players invited to take part in the Minnesota Wild Development camp.
Faber’s professional rights were traded from the Los Angeles Kings to the Wild two weeks ago in the trade that sent Kevin Fiala to the Kings. The 19-year-old Faber plays college hockey at Minnesota.
Senden, 24, plays at North Dakota and was a special invitee of the Wild for this camp.
Team coaches and Minnesota Wild development staff members are leading the on-ice skating and development sessions which run through Thursday at Tria Rink in St. Paul.
