Local Players Celebrate National College Football Title
Earlier this month the University of Wisconsin-River Falls football team won the Division 3 national championship.
On Wednesday the team was honored with a parade in downtown River Falls.
A handful of players in the Falcons’ program played high school football here in the northwest suburbs.
We talked to three of them after Wednesday’s parade- Caleb Campbell (Maple Grove H.S.), Cade Fitzgerald (Osseo H.S.) and Drew Kuempel (Armstrong H.S.)- about the team’s historic season.
