Local Nordic Skiers State Bound
Local Nordic skiers are state bound after the Section 6 meet.
The Wayzata boys team edged Armstrong by two points to take the section team title; both advance to state.
James Schneider won the individual title, with three Trojans in the top five.
Armstrong had four of the top eleven boys.
The Armstrong girls took the team title, with second place finisher Wayzata also advancing.
Mara McCollor of Wayzata took the girls title, with Armstrong’s Luci Anderson second.
The state Nordic meet is Thursday February 14th at Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik.
