Local Athletes Shine at Hamline Elite Meet
Local track and field athletes from the northwest suburbs had some strong finishes at the Hamline Elite Meet.
Tyler Sealock of Osseo won the boys 300 hurdles in a time of 38.42.
Hopkins won the boys 4 x 100 and 4 x200 relays, and Joe Fahnbulleh anchored those two relays and also won the 200 meters.
Wayzata’s Dante White was second and his teammate John Taylor third in the boys long jump.
Wayzata’s boys 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relay teams were second, as was Patrick Leonard of the Trojans in the 800 meters.
Wayzata’s girls 4 x 200 and 4 x800 relay teams had runner up finishes.
Heather Ryan of Maple Grove was second in the girls 100 hurdles.
