League Night: Plymouth Gun Club
This week’s League Night series with Jay Wilcox features shooting sports at Plymouth Gun Club.
Now tucked into the middle of a neighborhood, Plymouth Gun Club has been around since 1954, when it was surrounded by corn fields.
The volunteer-run club is open two days a week and we caught up with shooters from a Wednesday league who test their skills in trap and skeet shooting.
The club says the popularity of high school teams in the area is contributing to a surge in younger shooters coming to shoot, a hopeful sign for the future.
