Josiah Strong to Continue Basketball Career in Europe
2018 Champlin Park High School graduate Josiah Strong is continuing his basketball career overseas.
The 24-year old Brooklyn Park native leaves next month to play for HKK Siroki in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Strong started his college career at the Naval Academy, eventually earning his undergraduate degree in sports management at Illinois State University and his master’s degree in marketing management at Colorado State University.
The Rams qualified for the NCAA tournament last March and were a top-25 team much of the season.
Josiah has friends who are playing, or who have played, in Europe including Champlin Park High School teammates Theo John and McKinley Wright.
HKK Siroki is considered the top team in Bosnia and plays in a league with other Eastern European teams.
