Hopkins Wins Section 6AA Gymnastics for 2nd Straight Year
The Hopkins gymnastics team won the Section 6AA championship for a second straight year Saturday, scoring a season-high 145.625 points.
Wayzata also scored a season high total for points, 143.900, to finish second.
Individual state qualifiers for the Royals include all-around champion NyahSymone Britt plus Annabelle Speers and Ava Brosam.
Wayzata’s state individual qualifiers are Makenna Coen, Mikaela Lundvall, Ashley Mouyenga, and Kylie Ufheil.

The Class AA team competition is Friday at 6:00 pm at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul with the AA individual meet starting Saturday at 6:00 pm.
Breck qualified for state in Class A and will compete in the team meet Friday afternoon.
