Hopkins Wins Lake Conference Gymnastics Title
The Hopkins gymnastics team won the Lake Conference gymnastics championship for this season following their win over Edina this week.
The Royals won all six of their conference dual meets this year, securing the program’s first conference title since 2009.
The Royals’ season high for points is 144.9 although they have consistently scored above 141 all year.
Hopkins hosts the Section 6AA meet on Saturday, February 18th at noon. Wayzata is also in Section 6AA.
Hopkins has not won a section championship since 2008.
The state meet is February 24th and 25th at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul.
