Hopkins Softball Team Preview
The Hopkins softball team is aiming to contend for a section title this spring.
The Royals have a new head coach as former assistant Carl Yancy takes over for Mark Peterson.
They will have to replace star Natalie DenHartog, who is playing well as a freshman for the Gophers.
Hopkins returns a good group of position players from a team that lost to Edina in the Section 6AAAA final last season.
