Hopkins Softball Seeking Fourth Straight Trip to State Tournament
Class AAAA state tournament appearances have been the norm for the Hopkins softball team, with the Royals reaching state in each of the past three years.
This year, the goal remains the same and the Royals are hoping they can make it four consecutive trips to the state tournament.
Hopkins lost eleven seniors from a season ago, including current Northwestern pitcher Signe Dohse.
The Royals do bring back a strong core though, led by co-captains Abi Carter and Rosa Greenwood.
Per usual, Hopkins will rely on their strong pitching and hope to have depth in their lineup.
The Royals are scheduled to open their season at home against Buffalo on April 11th.
