Hopkins Softball Overpowers Kennedy

The Hopkins softball team jumped out to an early lead on the way to an 8-1 win over Bloomington Kennedy.

The victory put the Royals into the Section 6AAAA winner’s bracket final against Edina.

Hopkins scored three runs in the first inning and three more in the second to take a 6-1 lead.

Hopkins is the defending champion in the section.
