Hopkins Softball Falls to STMA
The Hopkins softball team lost 4-2 to St. Michael-Albertville Monday.
The loss trimmed the Royals’ lead in the Lake Conference to one game over second place Eden Prairie.
Khendal Johnson did most of the damage for the Knights, blasting a solo homerun in the second and then a tie-breaking two-run shot in the sixth.
Hopkins is now 8-2 in Lake Conference play with Eden Prairie at 7-3 and STMA at 6-4.
