Hopkins Softball Crushes Minnetonka
The Hopkins softball team scored five runs in the sixth inning on the way to a 9-1 win over Minnetonka Wednesday.
The Royals improved to 6-2 this season with the win.
Signe Dohse broke a 1-1 tie with a double to the fence in the bottom of the third inning to score a run and give the Royals the lead for good.
Dohse drove in another run with a single to right-center in the fifth inning.
Hopkins is back in action Friday when they play at Wayzata.
