Hopkins Softball Beats St. Louis Park in Regular Season Finale
The Hopkins softball team wrapped up a strong regular season with a 10-4 win over St. Louis Park Thursday.
Lauren Granger’s two-run homer in the second inning helped the Royals build a 5-0 lead.
Violet DuPree added a two-run shot of her own in the third to make it 7-1.
After SLP pulled to within 7-4 in the top of the sixth, the Royals scored three more in the bottom of the sixth to help put it away.
Hopkins finishes the regular season with a 13-7 record.
They are the number one seed for the Section 6AAAA tournament, which begins Monday.
