Hopkins-Park Girls Hockey Team Beats Princeton
The Hopkins-Park girls hockey team beat visiting Princeton 5-4 Thursday night.
They held off a Tigers rally in the third period after building a 5-1 lead.
After each team scored once in the first period, Hopkins-Park erupted for three goals in the second.
They scored 19 seconds into the third period to go up 5-1 before Princeton netted the last three goals.
Erin Brousseau scored twice for Hopkins-Park.
Amelia Smith and Kallie Abrahamson each scored a pair for Princeton.
Hopkins-Park is now 3-3 this season.
