Hopkins Gymnastics Vaults to Win over Wayzata
The Hopkins gymnastics team topped the 140-point mark for a second time this season, beating Wayzata 140.325 to 131.05.
The Trojans’ score was their highest this season.
Hopkins senior NyahSymone Britt won the all-around competition with a score of 36.15, just edging teammate Emma Tavernier’s total of 36.075.
Mady Johnson was Wayzata’s top all-arounder with a score of 35.4.
The regular season ends in two weeks with both teams competing in the Section 6AA meet February 14 at Edina High School.
