Hopkins Girls Basketball Team Blows Past Becker
The Hopkins girls basketball team blew past Becker 77-39 at the Breakdown Tip Off Classic.
The Royals are ranked first in class AAAA and Becker is rated second in class AAA.
Hopkins got off to a fast start, building leads of 15-4 and 26-10.
They were up 42-26 at the half.
Maya Nnaji scored 19 points to lead Hopkins.
Also in double figures: Taylor Woodson (15), Paige Bueckers (14) and Amaya Battle (13).
