Hopkins Girls Basketball Routs White Bear Lake
The top-seeded Hopkins girls basketball team built a 23-point halftime lead on the way to a 66-39 win over White Bear Lake in the Class AAAAA quarterfinals Wednesday morning.
Lauren Hillesheim scored 17 points, Liv McGill 14 and Tatum Woodson 12 to lead the Royals in scoring. McGill also finished with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Hopkins forced White Bear Lake into 22 turnovers. The Royals (26-3) face Maple Grove in the tournament semifinals Thursday at 6:00 pm at Williams Arena.
