Hopkins Football Scores First Win of Season
The Hopkins football team got into the win column for the first time in 2025 in a 45-21 victory over Park-Cottage Grove that was shortened due to lightning.
The Moore brothers dazzled for Hopkins.
Wide receiver Jayden Moore had two touchdown receptions and one memorable touchdown run, weaving back and forth across the field early in the fourth quarter to score from 43 yards out.
Quarterback Tre Moore was 7-for-15 for 123 yards and two touchdowns and also had a 46-yard touchdown run.
The Royals play Roseville this Friday.
