Hopkins Football Eager to Keep Climbing After Improved 2024
After three seasons of zero wins, the Hopkins football program snapped their losing streak last year when they won three consecutive games on their way to a 3-6 season.
Now the Royals are hoping to improve some more this fall.
Hopkins returns quarterback Tre Moore and his older brother Jayden Moore, who’s one of the top wide receiver prospects in the state.
Javion Kellogg is expected to be a big piece to the offense at running back.
Defensively, the Royals bring back defensive backs Ignacio Cisneros and Chase Radel, along with a strong front four on the defensive line.
Hopkins kicks off their season this Thursday against Edina.
