Hopkins Falls to Excelsior in Baseball
The American Legion baseball season has officially been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some local teams though are playing an independent, shortened schedule.
Games have started up, and that included rivals Hopkins and Excelsior meeting Monday in Minnetonka.
Excelsior handed Hopkins a 4-2 loss in the first game of a busy week for Hopkins.
The Flyers are scheduled to play each night Monday through Friday this week.
