Hopkins Boys Soccer Drops Match to Minneapolis Southwest 4-3
The Hopkins boys soccer team scored the first three goals of a non-conference match against Minneapolis Southwest, but proceeded to give up four unanswered goals in a 4-3 loss to the Lakers.
Sean Yaskey, Owen Hutto, and Henry Risser all scored in the first half for the Royals to give Hopkins a 3-0 lead in the first 18 minutes of the game.
The Lakers scored a goal before halftime to cut the deficit down to two goals, then Southwest got goals from Francesco Guarin, Nolan Crane, and Ben Bryan in the second half for the 4-3 win.
Hopkins is now 2-1-1 after the loss.
