Hopkins Boys Hockey Blanked at Minneapolis
The Hopkins boys’ hockey team ended the regular season with a loss as the Royals were shut out 3-0 by Minneapolis Thursday night.
After a scoreless first period, Minneapolis scored twice in the second and one final time in the third period.
Joel Hanson scored twice for Minneapolis.
Hopkins finishes the regular season with a record of 8-17-0. Minneapolis is 15-8-2.
Section tournament play in Minnesota hockey starts next week.
