Hopkins Boys Basketball Falls to Top-Ranked EP
The Hopkins boys basketball team fell to top-ranked Eden Prairie 82-68 Thursday.
After leading for part of the first half, the Royals saw the Eagles heat up to take a 38-30 halftime lead.
Hopkins fought back from a 15-point deficit to pull within seven in the second half.
Eden Prairie pulled away again though to stay unbeaten at 13-0.
John Henry had 28 points and Drake Dobbs 24 for Eden Prairie.
Kerwin Walton scored 26 but he was the only Hopkins player in double figures.
