Hopkins Boys Basketball Beats East Ridge
The Hopkins boys basketball team beat East Ridge 71-47 in the state class AAAA semifinals.
The Royals held a two-point lead at halftime but dominated the second half to pull away for the win.
Zeke Nnaji scored 23 points and Kerwin Walton 17 to lead Hopkins.
The Royals meet Lakeville North for the state title Saturday night.
