Hopkins Baseball Team Routs SLP
Calvin Harris drove in four runs as the Hopkins baseball team scored an 11-1, six-inning win over St. Louis Park in the second round of the Section 6AAAA tournament.
Harris delivered a two-run double in the first inning and added a two-run single in a seven-run Hopkins third inning.
Wyatt Nelson had three hits and scored three runs and pitched a complete game, striking out 10 Orioles’ batters.
The Royals now face Armstrong in the winner’s bracket final Monday at Hopkins High School.
