Hopkins Baseball Team into Section Final
The Hopkins baseball team beat Armstrong 4-1 to move into the Section 6AAAA final.
The Royals broke a 1-1 tie on Will Stein’s pinch hit homerun in the fifth inning.
Luke Polyak followed with a homer of his own on the next pitch.
Miles Halligan pitched a one-hitter with 18 strikeouts for Hopkins.
Hopkins awaits the winner of an elimination game between Armstrong and Wayzata.
