Hopkins Baseball Team Beats Minnetonka
The Hopkins baseball team beat Minnetonka 4-1 Monday evening at Minnetonka’s Veterans Field.
Royals pitchers combined to strike out 18 Minnetonka batters.
Starter Miles Halligan worked the first 5 1/3 innings and fanned 13 Skippers.
Sam Sikkink finished the game and struck out 5 in 1 2/3 innings.
The Royals did all of their damage offensively in the first two innings.
Hopkins improves to 10-4 with the win.
