Hopkins Baseball Team Beats Armstrong

The Hopkins baseball team beat Armstrong 8-4 Wednesday at Armstrong High School.

The win improves the Royals record to 7-3.

It could be a key victory for playoff seeding, as both teams compete in Section 6AAAA.

Hopkins took control early, scoring four runs in the first inning.

Four run-scoring doubles in a row in the fifth inning helped the Royals put the game away.
