Hopkins Baseball Loses at STMA
The Hopkins baseball team lost a close Lake Conference game Friday, falling 2-1 to St. Michael-Albertville.
The Royals scored a run in the fourth inning after giving up single runs in the first and third innings.
Both pitchers- Will Tomanek for Hopkins and Thomas Ohotto of STMA- threw complete games.
Hopkins dropped to 7-10 overall and 4-6 in Lake Conference games.
The Knights (11-7, 6-4) can still win a share of the Lake Conference title with wins against Wayzata and Eden Prairie this week.
Section tournament play for baseball starts next week.
