Heritage Christian Girls Basketball Falls in State Quarterfinals
The Heritage Christian Academy girls basketball team lost 58-46 to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in the state class A quarterfinals.
The Eagles scored just 15 points in the first half and fell behind 25-15.
The lead grew for W-E-M before Heritage battled back to a respectable final score.
As it turns out it’s the only tournament game for both teams.
The Minnesota State High School League announced the cancellation of the rest of the tournament due to the coronavirus.
