Heritage Christian Girls Basketball Advances to Section Final
The Heritage Christian Academy girls basketball team advanced to the Section 4A final.
The Eagles beat Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity 54-52 in the semifinals Tuesday night.
It was a close battle throughout, with Heritage leading by three at halftime.
Lester Prairie had a chance to tie on an inbounds play in the final seconds but missed.
Kirstin Robbins had 15 points and Taylor Schuck 14 to lead Heritage.
Kara Lee and Marissa Radtke scored 14 each to lead Lester Prairie.
Heritage Christian will aim for its third consecutive section title Friday when they face Mayer Lutheran.
