Heritage Christian Academy Girls Basketball Rallies for Win
After trailing throughout the first half, the Heritage Christian Academy girls basketball team rallied for a 62-46 win over Legacy Christian.
Legacy played a strong first half, building a 14-point lead with about a minute and a half left in the first half.
Kaitlan Jones hit three consecutive three-pointers late in the half to pull Heritage within 31-23 at halftime.
It was a sign of things to come.
The Eagles quickly closed the gap and then passed the Lions in the second half, and Jones helped to close the deal.
She hit 10 of 16 three-pointers to set a school record for made threes in a game, and fell just short of her career high in points with 37.
Heritage is now 17-3.
