Heritage Baseball Wins Semifinal

The Heritage Christian Academy baseball team won its state semifinal game 7-4 over Parkers Prairie.

The Eagles moved into the class A championship game with the victory over the defending champions.

Heritage scored four runs in the second inning and three more in the fifth before holding off a Panthers rally.

Parkers Prairie scored four times in the top of the seventh but Jonny Flynn and his defense held on.

Next up for Heritage is the class A championship Saturday morning at Target Field.
