Hansen’s Two Goals Leads Benilde-St. Margaret’s Girls Hockey to OT Win over Wayzata
University of Minnesota commit and Benilde-St. Margaret’s junior forward Talla Hansen netted two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to give the Red Knights girls hockey team a 2-1 win over Wayzata.
The Trojans scored first in the second period off a powerplay goal by Vanessa Swensson, assisted by Julia Ostapeic.
Hansen answered later in the second period before scoring her second goal of the night in OT.
Wayzata’s goalkeeper Kylie Jaksha came up with 58 saves for the Trojans, who fall to 5-1 on the season.
B-SM is also now 5-1.
