Hamel Rodeo Joins List of Cancellations for 2020
The Hamel Rodeo has been a fixture in the northwest suburbs since 1981.
The rodeo joined a long list of summer cancellations in the area this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As difficult as this decision was, we fell it’s the socially responsible thing to do” says a statement on the rodeo website www.hamelrodeo.org.
Plans are underway for the expected return of the Hamel Rodeo in July 2021.
