Gymnasts from Hopkins, Wayzata, and Osseo compete in Class AA Individual State Meet
Area high school girls gymnasts from Hopkins, Wayzata, and Osseo all competed in the Class AA Individual State Meet at Roy Wilkins Auditorium on Saturday night.
Wayzata’s Ava Johnson was the top gymnast in the uneven bars, placing 11th with a score of 9.075.
On the vault, Hopkins’ Nyah-Symone Britt scored a 9.75, which gave her a third-place finish in Class AA.
Osseo’s Ella Hagelin’s 9.325 score on the floor earned her a ninth-place finish. Hagelin also took second place on the beam with a score of 9.45.
Kylie Ufheil from Wayzata had the top area all-around score of 36.1625, which earned her a tenth-place finish.
