Fusion SC wins Cup Opener
The Fusion FC Select 1 Under 16 Boys soccer team of Plymouth won its opening match at the USA Cup Weekend tournament on Friday. Nicolas Figueroa-Calder scored twice as the Fusion defeated WWFC Wildcats from Sparta, Wisconsin 4-1.
The tournament continues through Sunday at the National Sports Center.The longer USA Cup tournament runs next Tuesday through Saturday July 21st. USA Cup started in 1985.
