Fusion SC Select 17U Girls Fall in USA Cup
The Fusion SC 17U Select girls soccer team of Plymouth lost 2-1 in pool play to Keliix Intra of Minneapolis at the USA Cup soccer tournament.
Fusion Select, playing in the Gold Division for 17U girls, scored first on a goal by Izzy Jonkman.
Keliix however counter with a first-half goal from Vada Arbeiter and a second-half goal from Meg Lickteig to secure the win.
Fusion SC is scheduled to play North Suburban SA Thursday at 7:30 pm at the National Sports Center.
Pool play in most divisions ends Thursday with bracketed playoffs starting Friday. Championships in all age divisions for both boys and girls are scheduled for Saturday.
