Former Pro Quarterback Cleveland McCoy Developing the Next Generation of QB’s
For several young quarterback hopefuls in the northwest suburbs and in the Twin Cities, an opportunity to get an edge in development is available by training with former professional quarterback Cleveland McCoy.
Many high school and youth signal callers spend the offseason either working on quarterback skills and drills at local high schools, or at McCoy’s “House of Elite” training facility in Maple Grove.
McCoy played college football at South Carolina State and then professionally in the Canadian Football League, Arena Football League, and stints with the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers in the National Football League.
After his playing days were over, McCoy moved to Minnesota and worked for the city of Fridley for seven years before founding his own company, “Quarterback Football Training.”
Since he first started in 2019, McCoy has trained over 125 athletes, focusing on everything from footwork, to throwing mechanics, and the mental aspect of the game.
