Five Local Gymnastics Teams Compete at MGGOA Meet

The Osseo gymnastics team finished first in Division 2 and Breck placed second in Division 1 at the annual MGGOA meet at Park Center.

The 16-team meet is split into two divisions.

Osseo won Division 2 with a team score of 122.15. The Orioles’ Ella Hagelin won the balance beam and floor exercise and placed second in the all-around (33.75).

Breck’s team score of 134.3 was second in Division 1 to Apple Valley/Eastview. The Mustangs’ Annika Golla won the all-around with a score of 35.475. Golla also won the vault while Breck’s Darby Zoia won the floor exercise.

Maple Grove finished fifth in Division 1 with a score of 123.825. Crimson senior Danica Hahn finished fifth in the all-around.

Park Center placed fourth (114.05) and Champlin Park fifth (113.925) in Division 2. Lubnag Xiong of the Pirates placed third in the Division 2 all-around.
