Edina Girls Hockey Skates Past Benilde-St. Margaret’s in Section 6AA Final
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls hockey team saw their season come to an end, falling to Edina, 3-1 in the Section 6AA final on Friday night.
The Hornets scored a goal in each period– a powerplay goal from Lorelai Nelson in the first, another powerplay goal from Whitney Horton in the second, and an even strength goal from Audrey Davis in the third.
The Red Knights scored their lone goal from Ella Pasqua with under a minute to play in the third period.
With the win, Edina has now won ten straight section 6AA titles.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s concludes its season with a 20-4-3 record.
