Dragon’s Lair Axe & Tap Sending Ten Throwers to World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships
Just 15 months ago, Dragon’s Lair Axe & Tap opened in Maple Grove located in the back of Chanticlear Pizza.
Next week, the axe-throwing establishment will be sending ten of its members to the World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Co-owner David Lewis built Dragon’s Lair in hopes to grow the axe-throwing community in the Northwest suburbs.
Lewis hopes one of the ten axe-throwers competing on the world stage can bring home a championship to Dragon’s Lair.
The World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships takes place at the Fox Cities Expo Center from April 3rd-6th.
