Crystal Frolics Softball Tournament Returns
After taking last year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the popular Crystal Frolics men’s softball tournament returns this week.
The number of teams is down slightly, with the lingering effects of the pandemic possibly playing a role.
Teams will compete in the Gold (class C) and Silver (class D & E) divisions.
The entire tournament will be played on the three fields at Welcome Park, which became the new hub site a couple of years ago.
The former main softball site was Becker Park, but a re-design there removed the softball fields.
There will be shuttle buses running between Welcome and Becker Parks Friday through Sunday to keep the connection to other Frolics events.
