Cricket Continues to Grow in Minnesota
The sport of cricket goes back centuries. Its growth has continued through time and globally is one of most popular sports.
This weekend in Eagan the Minnesota Tennis Ball Cricket Association (MTBC) hosts its season-ending tournament with games Friday through Sunday on the fields of Northview Park in Eagan.
The league has men’s, women’s and youth teams and boasts 2000 players from throughout the metro area, including the northwest metro.
Cricket returns to the Olympic games for the first time in many years at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
