Cooper Softball Falls to Chaska

The Cooper softball team put up a lot of runs but they couldn’t stop Chaska from scoring.

Chaska outslugged Cooper 11-7 in a matchup of Hawks versus Hawks Tuesday in New Hope.

Chaska took an early 3-0 lead before Cooper battled back to within 3-2.

They later tied the game 4-4 and 5-5.

Chaska scored six runs combined in the fifth and sixth innings to take an 11-5 lead.

They held on despite a Laura Beaner homerun for Cooper.
