Cooper looks to stay unbeaten in football

Cooper has qualified for the state football playoffs just once in school history, in 1996. The 2017 Hawks are looking to secure the school’s second trip to state when they face St. Louis Park Friday for the Section 5AAAAA title. Cooper is 9-0 coming into the Section championship, including a 40-17 win over St. Louis Park early in the season.
