Cooper Girls Basketball Team Rolling
The Cooper girls basketball team is rolling so far this season.
The Hawks have a new head coach as Raheem Simmons takes over for Kiara Buford.
Cooper is 9-2 so far, with their only losses coming to top-ranked Hopkins and fourth-ranked Centennial.
Cooper has been in the past two state tournaments in class AAA, but they are now back in AAAA, the largest class.
That means their road back to state would have to go through Hopkins and Wayzata.
Cooper hosts Benilde-St. Margaret’s Friday night in a game you can see live on CCX1 and www.ccxmedia.org
